1. What are the requirements that need to be met in order to get an article published? 
The publication of the article assumes:

1. Declaration of Originality signed by author/authors of the article (https://frcatel.fri.uniza.sk/hrme/files/other/declaration-en.docx);

3. Paying the fee (charge) for overall processing and making the article available to public in print version as well as digital version on Journal’s website (https://frcatel.fri.uniza.sk/hrme/eng/infos/poplatky.html);

4. Meeting the requirements of:
   a) significant scientific addition of an article;
   b) maintaining thorough citing discipline (matters of citations);
   c) absolute originality of an article (article cannot be published before in another journal);
   d) author’s trustworthiness and honesty (journal has zero toleration against plagiarism). [question]


2. What is recommended structure, focus and quality of scientific article for it to have decent chance of gaining positive reviews by reviewers of the Journal HRM&E?

3. What are the most common mistakes by authors of articles? 
Amongst most common mistakes of articles belong: insufficient quality of English language; inadequately explained characteristics, approach and methods of research; deficient number of scientific works cited in article that justify author’s approach and logic of presented starting points in a relevant way; insufficient formal aspect of the article (discrepancy with Template and Instructions for authors); insufficient content and formal aspect of references, etc. [question]


4. What is recommended length of an article (how many pages is one supposed to have) and how many cited resources are considered to be right amount for a good scientific article? 
Recommended length of an article is between 12–15 pages A4, line spacing 1, font size 12pt, font type Times New Roman. However, more important and essential are quality and originality of the article. Considered minimal number of used and thoroughly cited resources is 30. Used scientific works of different authors ought to be relevant, reputable and current time-wise. [question]


5. How long is average response time after sending an article in? 
Editorial office, represented by Editor in chief (Prof. Martina Blašková), responds on first contact from an author in utmost 3 days. It is possible for the response time to be longer due to frequent attacks of hackers that might result in not receiving the mail in the first place. 6. Does the Journal HRM&E publish also theoretical studies? 
Yes, the Journal also publishes theoretical studies (without empirical research on specific organizations), but in such studies it is necessary to pay thorough attention to in-depth analysis of the theoretical knowledge of the subject under consideration. Author is advised to work with (analyze, compare, discuss, synthesize, generalize, etc.) at least 60 scientific works and studies relevant to the subject. Author‘s original contribution to the development of science and theory has to be significant. [question]


7. Does the Journal HRM&E publish also case studies?  
Yes, it is possible for our journal to accept case studies as well, however studies must be chosen with precision, justified and original (scientifically interesting). For case studies it is mandatory to thoroughly define theoretical knowledge in particular field, to discuss and argue with different scientific and relevant researches or studies. Study is supposed to result in substantial scientific (theoretical) contribution. [question]


8. What are the fees (charge) for publishing an article? 
Fee for publishing an article is 50€. Journal does not require any additional fees. Fees are needed to be paid for to the account of Journal available at https://frcatel.fri.uniza.sk/hrme/eng/infos/poplatky.html. [question]


9. Is publishing of an article related with any other (additional, hidden) fees? 
No, there is only one fee of 50€ (overall processing and publication of the article) that needs to be paid for publishing an article. Journal does not require any other fees from the authors. [question]


10. Is public readers’ access to articles (viewing, reading) linked with any necessary fees?
