Peer Review Process
All submitted papers are reviewed at least by three independent reviewers.
The Editorial board meets the principle that at least one reviewer should
be from a university different from the paper´s author’s university and
two reviewers should be even from a different country.
The reviewers try to be as objective and impartial as possible. When reviewing
the papers they focus on its scientific value and contribution to the development
of the current knowledge first of all, on the originality of the presented/suggested
solutions, on the correctness of the applied scientific procedures
and methods and many other aspects. They are commonly presented in the
Review Form.
The formal aspect of the papers is assessed by the Editorial board. All
formal requirements are presented in the section
Instructions to Authors.
The Editorial board shall add or explain the requirements to every concerned
person upon the request.
The executive editor and other members of the Editorial board provide the
communication with the reviewers, they inform the authors on the results
of the review process (no later than by 2 months after the delivery of
the papers to the editorial office of the journal) and, if necessary, to
complete the papers or to make any necessary adjustments according to the
reviewers´ requirements; they also provide the communication with the papers´ author.
