Main activities:
Project manager and expert in several UE and business projects, for examples: member of the regional panel of experts’ panel for evaluating projects submitted to the Integrated Regional Operational Program in Pomerania region in thematic area:
  • Education and Labor Market, Gdansk (2002-2006);
  • member of the polish national experts’ panel to evaluate applications submitted to the EQUAL EU Community Initiative, Warsaw (2002-2006);
  • business development specialist for European Union, coach accredited by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, Warsaw (2003-2005);
  • project manager and team leader of Phare II – Economic and Social Cohesion – Human Resource Development: Promotion of Employment and Human Resources Development in Warmia and Mazury Region – responsibility for the project worth about 3 million EUR and trained more than 2,500 people (2003-2004), etc.

    Scientific activities and results:
  • Chief-solver of the scientific part of project Phare I, Fiesta II, 1998/9 – Subregional problems of unemployment, granted by Polish Agency for Entrepreneurship, Warsaw.
  • Own scientific researches in area of organizational stress, accommodation to labor market demands, Human Resources problems – main issues and periods of researches, granted by Committee for Scientific Researches, Ministry of Science and Higher Education and own sources: ”teachers’ stress (Pomeranian Pedagogical Academy, years: 1995-2000) and managerial stress (Gdansk Technical University, 2000-2002), and “professional competences, long- life learning, psychological safety on labor market, talents management, strategic HRM, innovation management (Hanseatic Academy of Management, 2005-2011).
  • Assoc. Prof. dr. Ewa Matuska has been a member of scientific committees of many national and also some international scientific conferences in Poland and Slovakia, a chair of several national and international conferences containing regional development, a member of editorial committee of international scientific journal HRM+E. She has been participating in the research and exchange programs in Poland, Germany, and Czech Republic.

    She also published 6-reviewed articles in international scientific journals as are: Human Resources Management and Ergonomics, Journal of Information, Control and Management Systems, Social and Economical Revue, International Journal of Social Sciences and Humanity Studies (IJ-SSHS), delivered 15 reports in the international and polish scientific conferences, did few expertises and reports. In total he has more than 40 scientific publications in Poland, Slovak Republic, Lithuania, Ukraine, and Turkey.
